Your application must include:

• A completed application form (remember to sign the declaration on the back!)
• Two passport-sized photos (not older than 6 months and  without glasses)
• A photocopy of your valid passport showing the expiry date; or your National ID card. Remember, you must bring the original of your ID to the exam; and it must be the same ID you used when applying. HSMP candidates without ID should contact their Home Office case worker to arrange return of their ID.

Fees and Business Terms

• The test fee for 2010 is £110
• No cancellation or refund with less than 5 weeks' notice
• Payment of £110 can be made by cash (in person), postal order (payable to Eurocentres Lee Green), debit/credit card (card payments accrue an additional £2 charge. We do not accept cheques. Please do not send cash by post.
• Use the IELTS Exam Payment Form if applying by post (»» Payment Form).
• Please note that applications sent without all relevant information will be returned and your exam may be delayed . When we receive your application we will email you a confirmation letter together with a timetable. Your receipt will be given to you on the day of your exam.

How Soon Before A Test Do I Need To Apply?
Please submit your application at least one month before your required test date and you should give a second choice of test date on your form. During less busy periods, it may be possible to book with shorter notice. The dates on our website are updated regularly.
Although we always do our best to accommodate urgent requests for test places, we advise against last-minute applications if candidates have no knowledge of the IELTS Test.

Preparation for the IELTS test

• An IELTS Specimen Materials Pack can be bought direct from Eurocentres. These papers will give you an idea of what to expect on the Test day and whether you are ready to take a test or not. The cost is £10.50 plus £2.00 postage and packing. To purchase an IELTS Specimen Materials Pack, please fax or post a IELTS Exam Payment Form to the IELTS Department.

Exam results
Exam results (for exams taken at all venues) can be collected in person from the Lee Green office 13 days after the exam, between 09:00-15:00. After this time, results will be posted (allow 3-4 working days for delivery). We cannot email, fax or give results over the phone for security reasons.
